All students who enter the R J INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Campus are expected to keep the sanctity of the campus, where a healthy atmosphere is maintained for the proper growth of a child.
Conduct of any student that is contrary to the discipline or injurious to the reputation of the school or the right of others will result in expulsion of that student from the school.
Students should take pride in keeping the school premises clean. Great care must be taken not to litter the campus with lunch scraps, fruit peel, scrap paper, toffee wrappers, polythene bags, etc. They should use the bins specially provided for the purpose.
In order to have a good standard of English, English must be spoken at all times within the school campus. As a further opportunity for practice reading magazines and books written in good English is encouraged.
Care must be shown for school property. Therefore, the students must not scratch or deface the desks, write on the walls or in any way damage what belongs to others and which are for common. Damage done or noticed should be reported at once to the office or to the authorities. A student who causes damage to any of the school property will have to pay the prescribed fine along with its cost of repair or purchase of a new one. Even if it is caused by accident, damages have to be made good.
When students move along the corridors or when they go up or come down the stairs, when changing class or during the recess, they must walk in perfect silence and in single file. They should always keep to the left except when several classes are moving along the corridors or are going up or coming down the stairs.
No student is allowed to remain in the classroom or in the corridors during recess or P.T. periods. Once on the ground, nobody may return to the classroom without special permission of the Vice-principal or the teacher in-charge. He/she should be accompanied by the Monitor.
Books – other than text or library books magazine or paper, or any other object which are liable to prove a source of disturbance for the smooth running of the school such as transistors, cameras, mobiles, iPods, etc should not be brought to school without the prior permission of the principal or the vice principal. Such items brought to the school will be confiscated and disciplinary action will be taken and heavy fine will be imposed.
Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles exchanged. The school is not responsible for the goods or money lost. It is not advisable to bring valuables like gold ornaments, expensive watches or fountain pens, etc. to school.
Wearing of ornaments/jewellery by girls or any student, or wearing wrist bands is not permitted in the school. Girls have to tie their hair into twin braids in school. Parents must ensure that hair is not grown long and is cut that hair is not grown long. Boys are not permitted to have mushroom cut and spikes. Use of tobacco/drugs, gutka, panparag or any other harmful items is strictly prohibited in the school.
Students must remember that the school is judged by their conduct. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school on the part of the students shall be liable for disciplinary action.
Use of abusive language, insulting other students or bullying, engaging in physical fights, bringing crackers or any sort of harmful material to school campus is not tolerated and will cause immediate suspension and in serious matters dismissal of the students involved both directly or indirectly.
RJ School keeps zero tolerance for any sort of sexual abuse or bullying. A Lady teacher is specially assigned as in charge of girls. The school also has a committee assigned to deal with such special cases.
Any student who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or willfully mischievous, or is guilty of malpractice in connection with examination, or commits an act of serious indiscipline, and/or misbehave or who in the opinion of the Head of the school has an unwholesome influence on his/her fellow students or whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory, or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards, may be removed from the school permanently, or for a specified period according to the discretion of the Principal.
Any disciplinary action taken by the Principal or any other school authority by according punishment to a faulty student in view of any act of indiscipline or violation of rules committed by such student will be deemed to be a Disciplinary Action only and would not amount to any offence envisaged under the Indian Penal Code or any other statutory ‘ACT’ and therefore not liable to be complained or challenged of before any ‘Statutory Authority’ or ‘Courts’ by such student-parent.
However such student himself or their parent if being aggrieved by any disciplinary action taken against them may prefer an appeal against such disciplinary action which shall be heard by the Secretary of the school. The final decision taken in the appeal shall not be liable to be further challenged before any other statutory forum.
Any student or their parent if by not preferring such appeal as aforesaid or against the order of appeal preferred, chooses to go before any other statutory forum outside School body, then such action taken by the student parent shall be deemed to be a deliberate attempt on the part of such faulty student parent to run down the school’s prestige and reputation and an attempt of harassing the school authorities thereby attracting immediate expulsion from the school with no option for readmission.
Teacher
Activity and Rules
Teachers must be present in the school premises at least 5 minutes before the timing given to all staff.
School commences at 7:20 a.m. for the teachers.
Teachers are to leave or enter the classroom immediately after the bell.
If a teacher remains absent for any important task must intimate the administrator regarding this at least one day before.
All the teachers are to be in the field / ground before the warning bell i.e. 7:30 a.m. for the morning assembly.
Teachers have to perform their duties on time asked by the administration, otherwise, an intolerable and disciplinary action may be initiated against him/her.
Every student’s notes, class work, homework and workbook must be complete and correct and any incomplete or incorrect work must be immediately corrected and completed before the new lesson.
Teacher’s attendance will be maintained by the time recorder and register.
During assembly teachers are to check their lines, uniform, nails, teeth, shoes, hair, ribbon, ornaments etc. Talking is strictly prohibited.
Once the assembly starts, the class teachers must stand at the back of their class line and subject teachers must stand at the side.
Class teachers are to take the students to the classroom after the morning assembly.
Teachers should bear in mind that every work must be up to date and duly corrected with red pen. Remarks, signature and date have to be written for every correction. Correction should not exceed more than three days.
The time recorder, daily assessment book, lesson plan and teachers remark book must be properly maintained and kept up to date for supervision by the concerned authority.
During class hours no teacher is allowed to leave his/her respective classes, except under unavoidable circumstances.
Try your best to inculcate good manners, discipline and high moral character among your students. You, as a teacher, are a role model for them. So first behave yourselves as you desire your students to. They will only imitate you, your manners and your behaviour. They will also remember you all through their lives, as your impression on the mind of the students will be everlasting.
School expects an outstanding standard of discipline to be maintained by both teaching and non- teaching staff.
Teachers are expected to come to school in their formal dress every day.
Teachers are to speak only in English in class and on the school grounds in order to set an example to the children.
Teachers are not allowed to drink, smoke, chew pan or tobacco.
Teachers are to keep in their minds that leisure periods are given especially for correction or for lesson preparation. So during that time they are expected to be in the staff room engaged with their work.
Teachers are to understand that staff room is a place where correction and preparation of the lessons are conducted. So teachers are expected to promote the atmosphere of working and should never consider staff room as a common room.
Teachers are not to abuse any child in public and must refrain from calling any child name.
No teacher is permitted to give any sort of physical punishment whatsoever.
Taking proper care of the materials, player, laptop and academy furniture etc. is also the responsibility of the teachers. If you take anything, must be put in its own place after using.
Teachers are allowed to take 12 CL in a year and can take 3 together in a month, apart from this if a teacher takes a leave it will not be count in CL leaves.

Parents should carry out their responsibilities as educator in instilling in their children respect and strict obedience for all school rules and regulations. Students should always wear their School ID card. Parents are requested to go through their wards school diary regularly and sign the teacher’s remarks, if any.
Parents must ensure that their wards join the school on the notified date at the beginning of the term or after each vacation.
Parents to revise lessons done in class and check that child does the homework regularly. Parents should take active and helpful interest in the activities of the school. Parents should ensure submission of Assignments and Projects in time. This will make child secure marks.
Almanac / Annual Planner / website will provide information about exam dates, holidays, PTM’s, Fees and academic pattern of child. Pl check it regularly and stay updated.
